I feel like it's been harder just because I didn't have someone to tell me, Oh, this is how you apply to college. This is how like, this is what you do after high school. They didn't even, like, complete their high school education, you know? So it was kind of like a new everything was new to me. So I had to put myself out there more how to, like, maybe talk to more people. And it didn't come as easy. And the fact that I come from a low income as well, it's been like more difficult in the sense that like I don't have guidance or like things. I'm just like, come easy, you know? They didn't grow up in the United States. So for them, I was pretty much like just work and marry will work for like my dad and then marry for my mom. And like the the husband took care of the wife and stuff like that. That was the tradition. My mom's expectations for me are different. She always tells me, like, focus on your education better yourself before anybody else. Look out for yourself. Education will always be with you. Don't let anybody stop you from what you want. She was like, You have so many opportunities being a citizen, so don't let that stop you. Everybody may have an opinion of what you cannot do, but just be brave enough and believe in yourself. So if your expectations of me are like very high, since I was like a little girl should always focus on education, education. She even take me to after school programs when I was learning English because that's my second language. So she I just she always like, put a big, um, like high standards for me to reach. But that's been fine because it's part of me that wants to complete them as well. And for my will, like my kids, if I have kids, I do expect to go to college. I'm going to be there for them knowing like how you apply the process it is. And I can tell them from my experience how it has helped me, you know?
